Goldman Sachs Sets Up Regional Headquarters in Riyadh
The Wall Street bank becomes the first to comply with Saudi Arabia’s Regional Head Quarters project.
The Saudi Ministry of Investment has officially granted US investment bank, Goldman Sachs, the licensing to set up its regional headquarters in Riyadh, in accordance with the national Regional Head Quarters project.
The Regional Head Quarters project was launched in 2021 but came into force this year, issuing an ultimatum to ensure all foreign companies with state contracts and a minimum of 15 employees place their Middle Eastern headquarters in the Kingdom. Goldman Sachs, with offices in Doha, Riyadh and Dubai, is the first Wall Street Bank to take steps to comply with Saudi Arabia's new policy.
