Ibrahim Adel Joins FC Nordsjælland on Loan From Al Jazira
The club confirmed the agreement runs through the current campaign.
Egyptian winger Ibrahim Adel has joined Danish side FC Nordsjælland on loan from Al Jazira until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent. The club confirmed the agreement runs through the current campaign. If registration procedures are completed in time, Adel could make his debut against SønderjyskE in the Danish Superliga on February 8th, 2026.
Adel, 24, moved to the United Arab Emirates at the start of the season from Pyramids FC and made 11 appearances for Al Jazira, without registering a goal or an assist. He was not included in the squad for the club’s last two matches prior to the loan move. A transfer to Europe had been discussed earlier last year, but negotiations with an unnamed European club did not progress to completion. Adel first emerged at Pyramids FC, where he featured regularly in domestic and continental competitions.
At international level, Adel was part of Egypt’s squad at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where the team equalled its best finish in the tournament.
FC Nordsjælland currently sit eighth in the Danish Superliga with 24 points as they compete for a place in the championship round. The club last won the league title in the 2011/2012 season.
