KAUST Launches National Mathematics Competition for Saudi Students
Participants will compete for prizes and places at a summer mathematics camp to be held next year by KAUST and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has launched a national mathematics competition aimed at identifying talented middle and high school students across Saudi Arabia.
Registration is open to students from both public and private schools until November 9th, with participants competing for prizes and places at a summer mathematics camp to be held next year by KAUST and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
The competition follows international standards in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, and number theory, and serves as a pathway to the university’s pre-university academic programmes. Its structure includes several stages, beginning with preliminary rounds and culminating in a final that will determine the top performers among eligible students.
The preliminary rounds will be held in multiple cities across the Kingdom on December 13th, while the final will take place at KAUST from April 3rd to the 5th, 2026. Additional information and registration details are available on the university’s official website.
