Nearly 9,000 Aid Trucks Entered Gaza Strip From Egypt Since Ceasefire

Since the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect on January 19th, 2025, nearly 9,000 aid trucks have entered the Gaza Strip, delivering essential supplies such as food, water, fuel and medical assistance to address severe shortages caused by Israel’s assault on Gaza, as well as the Israeli blockade on the region.

Aid convoys continue to be dispatched, including the recent delivery of 1,200 tons of supplies through the deployment of the 11th and 12th humanitarian aid convoys since the ceasefire began.

The ceasefire agreement, reached through international mediation by Egypt, Qatar and the USA, also allowed for the exchange of hostages and prisoners, as well as medical evacuations from within the Gaza Strip.
