New App Lets Saudi Farmers Access Expert Agricultural Help on Demand

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has launched Murshiduk Al-Zira’i, a new digital guide designed to support farmers with expert-led agricultural advice. The app connects users to 441 accredited specialists across multiple disciplines, offering guidance from land preparation through to harvest.

In addition to consultations, the platform provides weather alerts from the National Centre of Meteorology, soil and water analysis reports, live guidance sessions, and educational resources. All features are available free of charge on iOS and Android.

The app has already received several accolades, including the Digital Government Award for Best Arabic Application, a UN award for sustainable development, and ISO certification. Its launch aligns with ongoing efforts to modernise Saudi Arabia’s agriculture sector and support farmers with digital tools and data-driven insights.
