New Medical Complex Will Be Built Near New Administrative Capital
The complex will have the capacity to accommodate 4,000 patients by the time of its completion.
A new medical complex near the New Administrative Capital was announced during the Annual Scientific Conference on Emergency Medicine.
Situated along the Ain Sokhna Road, the medical complex will span a 230-acre expanse when completed. At its essence, the project represents an integration of 18 institutes, weaving existing facilities with innovative structures.
Key features of the project include a medical university, central laboratories, housing for doctors, hotels to attract medical tourism, and research centres that touch on all specialties.
This intentional design seeks to create a centralised hub for healthcare, where medical services converge fluidly. The complex is designed to hold the capacity of 4,000 beds. The project comes as part of Egypt’s vision of a bigger medical tourism sector to accommodate patients from different parts of the world.
