New Parkin App Allows Motorists to Park Now & Pay Later
The new app centralises all parking-related information, making the parking process faster and easier for Dubai Motorists.
Dubai’s biggest public parking provider, Parkin, has launched a new smart app designed to make the parking experience simpler and faster.
The Parkin app allows users to make online payments for car-park and on-street parking, meaning machine-hunting and carrying cash are no longer necessary. Through the app, motorists are able to schedule parking in advance and also defer payments.
Using number-plate recognition technology, the app incorporates AutoPay and automatically detects when cars arrive and leave, calculating parking charges based on the time passed.
Users can also see which parking places are available in the areas around them as the app offers real-time updates on-street and off-street spots.
The app allows you to pay fines, dispute charges and request refunds. It also offers a digital wallet in which users can store all their permits, and can be used for top-ups, vehicle-tracking and seasonal parking subscriptions.
To use the app, motorists can simply create an account, sign in using their UAE Pass or RTA account, and then use the Parkin registration form.
