Riyadh Metro Announces First-Class Ticket Prices Starting at SAR 10
Tickets for both Standard and First-Class travel can be purchased exclusively through the Darb app.
Following the opening of the Riyadh Metro, the city has announced First-Class ticket prices across the new public transportation network.
First-Class Fares are SAR 10 for a two-hour pass, SAR 50 for a three-day pass, SAR 100 for a seven-day pass, and SAR 350 for a 30-day pass.
Standard Class tickets are also available, providing accessible pricing for everyday commuters. Standard Class fares are SAR 4 for a two-hour pass, SAR 20 for a three-day pass, SAR 40 for a seven-day pass, and SAR 140 for a 30-day pass.
Tickets for both Standard and First-Class travel can be purchased exclusively through the Darb app. The Riyadh Metro, officially inaugurated by Saudi King Salman on November 27th, spans 176 kilometres with six lines and 85 stations, including major hubs like the King Abdullah Financial District and Qasr Al Hokm.
The metro’s phased rollout began recently, with the Blue, Yellow, and Purple Lines opening first. They will be followed by the Red and Green Lines on December 15th, and the Orange Line on January 5th, 2025.
