Saudi Arabia’s First Technical High School for Boys Opens in Riyadh
The school uses a progressive global model to strengthen students' technological skills and abilities.
Riyadh’s first technical high school for gifted boys has been launched at Tuwaiq Academy, marking the first government institution in the Kingdom focused solely on technology. The school offers specialised programs in areas like programming, cybersecurity, digital manufacturing and data science.
The curriculum encourages students to develop meaningful projects for tech careers by integrating classroom instruction with extracurricular activities led by industry experts.
With a strong emphasis on scientific research, students are expected to participate in competitions and exhibitions such as the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Competition and Exhibition, and the National Olympiad for Programming and Artificial Intelligence as well as showcase their talents on both a regional and international level.
