Saudi Arabian Taekwondo Athlete Abu Taleb Beats Israeli Semberg

Saudi Arabian Taekwondo athlete Donia Abu Taleb has claimed victory over Israel’s Avishag Semberg in the Women’s Taekwondo -49kg category at the Paris Olympics, qualifying her for the quarterfinal fight.

The 27-year-old won the second round of the match with a score of 5-4, and the third round of the match with a score of 10-0.

The young athlete previously claimed the bronze medals at the 2022 World Championships in Mexico as well as at the 2022 Asian Championships. She was also named as the 9th overall best athlete at the 2023 World Championships held in Azerbaijan.
