Water Network Expansion Completed in Riyadh & Diriyah
New water lines extend 132 kilometres to support growing demand and urban expansion.
New water lines and distribution networks have been completed across Riyadh and Diriyah, with total project costs reaching approximately SAR 37 million.
According to National Water Company (NWC), the works include pipelines of varying diameters spanning a combined length of around 132 kilometres.
The projects cover multiple areas, including the Leban District and Tuwaiq District, alongside other neighbourhoods across Riyadh and Diriyah.
NWC said the infrastructure upgrades are designed to expand water coverage, improve the efficiency of daily distribution systems, and support water security in line with ongoing urban growth.
The company added that the projects aim to meet increasing demand for water services while enhancing overall service quality and operational performance.
