Wio Bank Launches UAE’s First Shared Family Banking Experience
Wio Bank has launched Wio Family, the UAE’s first shared digital banking experience, allowing households to manage spending, saving and goals together.
Abu Dhabi–based Wio Bank has introduced Wio Family, described as the UAE’s first fully shared digital banking experience for modern households. The feature allows two account owners to open a joint digital space and invite family-members, including children, teens and relatives, to participate in shared financial management. Wio Family offers tools for spending controls, real-time tracking, shared saving goals and permission management. Younger members can use their own virtual cards within preset limits, allowing them to build financial habits under parental oversight. The product includes a Family Fixed Saving Space offering up to 6% per annum for customers who transfer their salary to Wio Bank. Families holding a combined balance of AED 35,000 or more can access the service without a monthly fee. The bank said further additions to the Wio Family ecosystem are planned in the coming months.
