Wycombe Abbey International Cairo East Opens Admissions in New Capital
Wycombe Abbey International Cairo East has opened admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year starting this September.
Wycombe Abbey International, a top award-winning family of schools, is about to launch its first school in Egypt at the New Administrative Capital. With classes starting in September 2024, Wycombe Abbey International Cairo East (WAICE) has opened admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Since its founding in 1896, Wycombe Abbey has consistently been ranked as one of the top schools in the UK. In this year’s edition of The Spear’s Magazine Global School Rankings (The Spear’s Index 2024), Wycombe Abbey UK was recognized as one of the top 100 senior schools globally and was further honoured as one of the top 25 senior schools in the United Kingdom. With the launch of Wycombe Abbey International (WAI) in 2015, they've since spread this voice across the world, starting in China. Through WAI's partnership with WMC Educational Foundation in Egypt, the establishment of WAICE - the first in Africa and the Middle East - will give parents and their children access to those same high standards in education.
While the school has plans to offer a full K-12 education experience, WAICE is currently accepting students aged three to nine, from early years to year 5. With a world-class curriculum based on the Cambridge International curricula, WAICE's Early Years programme (ages three to five) will focus on seven main areas of childhood development to encourage exploration and self-expression, while the Junior School programme (ages five to nine) will immerse students in academic learning alongside Egyptian culture, Arabic and English languages, and a deep appreciation and understanding of how to navigate a diverse and interconnected world.
