Break Out the Firecrackers for Chinese New Year at FS Nile Plaza
Over 10 days, 8 will pull its guests into the Year of the Rabbit with an immersive celebratory ceremony.
The Four Seasons Nile Plaza has always offered a cosmopolitan culinary experience, and 8 - an elegant Chinese restaurant, named after the luckiest number in Chinese culture - is no exception. The restaurant does not merely serve a menu rich in Asian-inspired cuisine - 8 is in itself a journey to the east. The server does not just take you to your table, but to another culture entirely. So as Chinese New Year approaches on January 22nd, 8 will be pulling its guests into the Year of the Rabbit with an immersive celebratory ceremony filled with lanterns, lucky coins, and trees that are teeming with mandarin and kumquats symbolising good luck and prosperity.
Kicking things off with a ceremony at 10 AM at the hotel ramp and 12 noon at the restaurant entrance, 8 will exclusively offer a set menu on the first day of the Chinese New Year celebration, to be served alongside live entertainment. Until January 31st, over ten days of celebration, the set menu will continue to be offered along with 8's ala carte menu - so even if you missed the opening ceremony, you can still hop on over and start the Year of the Rabbit off right.
