T100 Triathlon World Championship Final to Take Place in Dubai
From Miami to Singapore and all the way to Lake Las Vegas, the Triathlon is wrapping up in Dubai.
As part of the 2024 Dubai Fitness Challenge, a city-wide initiative that challenges residents and tourists to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, the T100 Triathlon World Championship will be landing in Dubai on November 16th and the 17th for its finale.
With a goal of elevating and growing the sport of triathlon, the PTO is a sports body co-owned by its own professional athletes. The T100 Triathlon World Tour takes triathletes on a tour across continents, where they embark on races that are completed over 100 kilometres (2 km swimming, 80 km biking and 18 km running). The tour has travelled from Miami to Singapore, before heading to San Francisco, London, Ibiza, Lake Las Vegas and, finally, Dubai.
Organised by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), the World Championship will end its first tournament in Dubai, crowning its first winners in the emirate. The Dubai T100 Triathlon World Championship Final will also determine the final split of the record USD 7 million USD prize fund, with USD 250k being awarded at the race, and a further USD 2 million for the season-long competition.
