King Abdulaziz International Airport has ranked third globally among airports handling between 50 and 60 million passengers annually, according to the Skytrax 2026 rankings.
The airport also placed fifth on the list of the world’s most improved airports and ranked 27th overall among the top 100 airports, advancing 17 positions compared to last year.
The results were announced during the Passenger Terminal Expo, where global aviation performance benchmarks were presented.
The third-place position specifically places the airport among the top performers in the “mega airport” category, which covers facilities handling between 50 and 60 million passengers annually.
