SalamAir Launches Direct Flights From Muscat to Erbil & Damascus
The new routes begin on October 25th and 28th, expanding SalamAir’s network to more than 46 destinations.
SalamAir is launching direct flights from Muscat to Erbil on October 25th and to Damascus on October 28th, expanding its regional network to more than 46 destinations.
The Muscat-Erbil route will operate twice weekly and become SalamAir’s second destination in Iraq after Baghdad. The Damascus service will make SalamAir the first Omani airline to operate directly between Muscat and the Syrian capital.
The airline marked both launches with a joint ceremony at Muscat International Airport attended by government, diplomatic and aviation representatives from Oman, Iraq and Syria. SalamAir said the new services are intended to widen travel options across the region while supporting tourism, trade and onward connections through Muscat.
