Amy Winehouse's Original Band to Perform in Egypt's Soma Bay October 5

Inevitably, many of us had once karaoked to ‘Valerie’ or ‘Back to Black’ in our bedroom, fantasizing about what it would have been like to see late renowned superstar Amy Winehouse perform live. Well, that dream is now becoming as real as it could be, because Amy Winehouse’s original band is landing in Egypt for the first time for a live concert at Soma Bay, Red Sea on October 5th as part of their 2024 world tour.

The band is led by Winehouse’s long term musical director, bass player and close friend Dale Davis. Thirteen years on from her passing, the beloved nu-soul singer continues to be an influential musical figure globally, with her songs soundtracking our sleepless nights and night-outs just the same. Last April, a biopic titled ‘Back to Black’ was released chronicling Amy Winehouse’s music, life and legacy.
