Kuwaiti Metalcore Band Fight Their Demons on 'Faith'
Kuwaiti band ‘SRAI’ strives to guide their listeners through their experimental metal-rock.
Kuwaiti metal band SRAI recently revealed their latest single, ‘Faith’, an introspective blend of metalcore and heavy metal that calls for its listeners to never give in to their inner demons.
“The song ‘Faith’ and the music video have a deep meaning,” SRAI tells SceneNoise. “The song describes how hard life can be, and no matter how much life throws at you, you must fight back your demons and get back on your feet.”
Dabbling between experimental metal and melodic rhythms, SRAI are one of the few musical projects in the region pioneering rock and roll whilst integrating their Kuwaiti heritage in their music.
Founded in 2022, SRAI, signifying ‘lantern’ in Kuwaiti, is a reflection on the various sources of light that guide us through life. Deeply resonating with this symbol, SRAI embraces the idea within the fabric of their music, purposefully giving existential meanings to each of their tracks. ‘Faith’ is complemented by a dynamic music video, directed and edited by ABZY, emulating the energy and vivacity of the audio.
