Moving Still to Make Cairo Debut at NoiseSessions January 23rd
Celebrating the DJs redefining Arab club sounds, NoiseSessions returns with headliner Moving Still next Thursday.
The return of SceneNoise’s flagship party series, NoiseSessions, in collaboration with Cairo Jazz Club 610 is focused on artists shaping the future of Arab club sounds on a global stage.
Headlining the upcoming event is Moving Still, the Saudi-Irish DJ and producer known for his unique ability to fuse retro-Arabic melodies with modern dancefloor-ready beats. His work, which includes releases on labels such as Nail Shop, Jive Hive, and Banoffee Pies, has earned him recognition in global electronic music circles. With a passion for reinterpreting classic Arab tracks, Moving Still’s sets bring a distinctive, culturally rich energy to the dancefloor.
Opening the night is Joumana, a vinyl-focused DJ whose selections effortlessly combine Arabic and African influences with funk and acid-tinged grooves. Following her, Aly Goede and Jess will deliver a mix of funky, groove-heavy cuts before Misty, a Cairo staple, closes the night with his signature blend of deep house and Italo disco.
