Retrogroove Levels Up With Massive Dubai Season Line-Up

Over the past seven years, MENA's famed house and disco collective retrogroove have been hosting electrifying events that have lit up cities from Beirut and Amman to Paris, Doha, Cairo and London, to name a few.

Now, retrogroove is kicking things into overdrive with their 2024-2025 Dubai Season - a series of parties showcasing a blend of international heavyweights and regional trailblazers behind the decks.

The season kicks off this December 14th with a club night headlined by Australian disco jockey CC:Disco! Expect a pumping mix of disco, house and boogie cuts. The action unfolds across two rooms at Dubai’s Monkey Bar. CC:Disco! will be joined by Retrogroove’s resident selectors Ledwarf and Whoisbibz, along with Dubai-based Iranian DJ Parvané. Meanwhile, room two will host a special collaboration between Lebanese collective Somewhere… and Saudi Arabia’s sensory powerhouse Loop, featuring regional talents like Daddybisht, Ronin and Kira.

While the full 2025 line-ups are still under wraps, retrogroove has teased an impressive roster of headliners. Highlights include Chilean DJ and producer Paula Tape, who will share the decks with members of Egypt’s legendary Nacelle crew.

Meanwhile, on February 15th, retrogroove are bringing veteran crate digger and selector Barabara Boeing, known for her soulful take on Brazilian funk and disco. Closing out the season on April 26th, London’s house aficionado Dan Shake will take centre stage.
