Hyatt Just Opened Its First Lifestyle Brand Hotel in Doha
Designed to highlight Qatari heritage, Andaz Doha marks Hyatt’s fourth property in the city.
Hyatt has officially unveiled Andaz Doha in West Bay, introducing its lifestyle brand to Qatar for the first time and making it the fourth Hyatt property in the city.
Designed by Brime Robbins, the property’s interiors highlight Qatari heritage through thoughtful details. The immersive ‘Airlock’ entrance features kaleidoscopic lights, while the lobby’s canopy design draws inspiration from the Sadu weaving technique.
The hotel’s 256 guestrooms, including 32 suites and four Royal Suites, incorporate maroon accents representing the Qatari flag, custom handles shaped like Arab walking sticks, and mosaic tiles reflecting the city’s coastline.
As for the culinary offerings, those include The Salt Road Doha, now open with South African-inspired flavours, while Mr. & Mrs. Hawker and Mumble Jungle are set to open soon with Asian-inspired menus.
Additionally, guests can unwind at Alara Spa, use the 24-hour fitness centre, and even host their wedding in the 750-square-metre ballroom.
