Ahmed El Awady Will Star in New Film Directed by Khaled Youssef
The film was written by the renowned journalist, novelist and screenwriter Osama Anwar Okasha.
Egyptian actor Ahmed El Awady has secured his first cinematic leading role in director Khaled Youssef’s upcoming film, 'El Eskandarany.' The duo announced their collaboration through social media and revealed that the screenplay was crafted by renowned journalist, novelist and screenwriter Osama Anwar Okasha.
This film marks Youssef's return to the silver screen after a five-year hiatus since his last film, 'Karma' (2018). The divisive director is most recognized for his films ‘Kheyana Mashro’a’ (2006), ‘El Rayes Omar Harb’ (2008) and ‘Dokan Shehata’ (2009). While Awady had recently starred alongside Yasmine Abdelaziz in the Ramadan series ‘Darb Nar’ (2023).
