Nisreen Amin & Akram Hosny to Star in New Ramadan Series 'Baba Gah'

Egyptian actress Nisreen Amin and comedian Akram Hosny will share the screen in a new comedy series ‘Baba Gah’, scheduled to air during Ramadan 2024. 

Written by Wael Hamdy and directed by Khaled Mar’ay, the 15-episode Ramadan series will follow the dysfunctional life of a long-time married couple,  Nisreen and Akram, and their outrageous misadventures with their children. The mini-series will also star Egyptian actress Samaa Ibrahim. 

Akram’s latest cinematic showing is ‘El Ameel Sefr’, which saw him as a security guard James Bond wannabe, starring alongside Bayoumi Fouad, Fatima Al-Banawi, Moustafa Ghareeb, Asma Abulyazied and Ismail Farghali.
