The Egyptian Cabinet announced April 17th is a paid public holiday for the public and private sectors to celebrate Sham El Nessim. The decision applies to workers in ministries, governmental facilities, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, the public enterprise sector, and the private sector, according to the Cabinet’s statement.
