Siwa to Receive New EGP 57 Million Road Network

An extensive road network is being built throughout Siwa. Constructed by the Central Agency for Reconstruction, the roads are intended to help develop Siwa’s residential and agricultural growth by connecting villages to Siwa’s main roads, and linking neighbouring areas together. Siwa’s agricultural zone is expected to expand by 5,000 acres as a result.

The first phase of the project has already been completed, and will continue with the construction of three roads: Al Tabtah Road, Sand Dunes Road and Fatnas Road. Overall, the project is estimated to cost around EGP 57 million.
