In celebration of World Environment Day on Saturday, Egyptian biker and Guiness World Record Holder is riding an electric motorcycle for 1,000 km to make a name for eco-friendly vehicles across Egypt.
Egyptian biker and Guiness World Record Holder Ali Abdo is hitting the road for a good cause. In celebration of World Environment Day on Saturday, Abdo is riding an electric motorcycle for 1,000 km to make a name for eco-friendly vehicles across Egypt.
Under the ‘100 Egypt’ initiative launched last year, Abdo is hoping to bring sustainable development goals and climate change issues into the national discourse. The campaign falls in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, where electric vehicles are highlighted as a core element.
You can tune in to Abdo’s journey via his Facebook page, where he will be broadcasting his journey live at each electric charging station to discuss environmental issues and answer questions from the public.
