Zawya Cinema to Screen ‘The Substance’ From December 10th

Having sold out screenings at El Gouna Film Festival and the Panorama of the European Film, Downtown’s Zawya Cinema has announced the screening of ‘The Substance’ by director Coralie Fargeat, which won Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival. Starting from December 10th, tickets can be booked through Zawya Cinema’s box office or their website.

The film tells the story of a mysterious black-market drug that allows people to alter their appearance and age, temporarily creating a younger, better version of oneself. But the titular Substance has some horrifying side effects...
