HALA Gains Licence From Saudi Capital Market Authority
Switching from HALA Ventures to formerly HALA Capital, the firm is now licensed to operate across venture capital, private equity, and private credit.
HALA Capital, a closed joint stock company headquartered in Al Khobar, has launched as a Capital Market Authority-licensed private capital firm under and will now operate across venture capital, private equity, and private credit.
Founded in 2018 by Ali Abussaud and Hussain Almarhoon, HALA frames the move as an expansion beyond its venture roots.

The company described the launch as its evolution into a comprehensive private capital platform spanning venture capital, private equity, and private credit, with activities focused on Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
