Boston's AiSight.ai Launches Retail Tracking System Across Saudi

AiSight.ai has launched an AI-powered retail tracking system in Saudi Arabia, monitoring more than 630,000 outlets as part of an expansion in the Gulf consumer market.

The Boston-based firm, founded by Umar Saif, said its Software as a Service platform is designed to provide fast-moving consumer goods companies with detailed, actionable insights to improve sales and distribution strategies.

The system responds to growing demand in a rapidly evolving retail landscape, where traditional market research methods are struggling to keep pace with changing consumer behaviour.

According to the company, the platform combines artificial intelligence with satellite imagery, consumer mobility data, footfall analytics and point-of-sale information to generate a unified, high-resolution view of market activity.

The nationwide tracking capability is intended to help businesses optimise route-to-market strategies and target consumers more effectively.

AiSight.ai said its monthly retail audit offers insights not typically available through existing providers, positioning the platform as a continuous intelligence tool rather than a static reporting system.

The company estimates the retail audit sector in Saudi Arabia represents a revenue opportunity of around $15 million and plans to invest several million dollars in the Kingdom over the coming years.
