Egypt to Host Emergency Arab Summit on Palestine on February 27th

Arab leaders will gather in Cairo on February 27th, 2025, for an emergency summit to address escalating developments in the Palestinian issue.

The summit was organised in coordination with Bahrain, which currently holds the presidency of the Arab Summit and the League of Arab States.

The decision to convene follows high-level consultations between Egypt and various Arab nations, including Palestine, which formally requested the summit. Discussions are expected to centre on recent developments deemed to pose new and significant challenges to the Palestinian cause.
