Five New Dining Concepts Open at JAX District Under JAX Flavors
JAX District has unveiled five restaurants and cafés as the first phase of JAX Flavors.
Five hospitality destinations have opened at JAX District in Diriyah as the first phase of JAX Flavors, a new initiative focused on supporting culinary experimentation and food entrepreneurship within the creative district.
The opening venues include Shibuya, a Japanese-inspired concept offering maki, ramen and contemporary small plates; Happyland Matcha, a café centred on specialty matcha drinks; Camel Step, a Saudi specialty coffee brand; and Buttermilk x Doe, a dual-concept venue combining casual dining with comfort-focused dishes. Together, the five destinations form the initial rollout of JAX Flavors, with additional concepts expected to follow in later phases.
JAX Flavors is designed as a testing ground for restaurant and café operators, giving chefs and entrepreneurs space to develop, refine and present new ideas within JAX District’s broader creative ecosystem. The district is managed by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation and has been positioned as a hub where different cultural disciplines operate side by side.
The hospitality openings coincide with an active cultural calendar across JAX District, including the upcoming third Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, set to open on January 30th, 2026.
