Humain Unveils Artificial Intelligence Sports Platform in Saudi Arabia

Humain, a company owned by the Public Investment Fund, launched Humain Sport, an artificial intelligence sports platform, during the Public Investment Fund Private Sector Forum in Riyadh following its acquisition of a controlling stake in London-based AIIO, an artificial intelligence and sports technology company.

Humain said the investment supports its long-term strategy to expand artificial intelligence applications across multiple sectors, including sport, and will accelerate the development and deployment of advanced sports solutions in Saudi Arabia and internationally. Through Humain Sport, the combined capabilities of Humain and AIIO will provide integrated artificial intelligence platforms designed to support the sports ecosystem, including expanding participation, data-driven athlete development, and analysis to improve outcomes from grassroots to elite performance.

Humain said the acquisition enables it to leverage AIIO’s existing products, technical expertise and global sports network to speed international expansion and develop new use cases, while AIIO will benefit from Humain’s artificial intelligence infrastructure, platforms, strategic partnerships and operational and commercial capabilities to deliver solutions across geographies and disciplines.

Humain Sport will operate as a specialised sports technology unit within Humain to support deployments in Saudi Arabia and other international markets, combining Humain’s artificial intelligence capabilities and AIIO’s sports platforms to provide solutions for professional sport, amateur and community sport, and adjacent sectors such as education, health and training.
