UAE Suspends School Bus Operations as Students Return to Classrooms

The UAE has suspended the operation of school buses, meaning they will not be available when students return to classrooms next week, authorities announced.

The Ministry of Education said the decision will be reviewed on a weekly basis, and parents will need to arrange private transport for school drop-offs in the meantime.

Nurseries, public and private schools are set to resume in-person learning on Monday, April 20th, 2026, following weeks of remote classes after an extended spring break linked to regional tensions and the Iran conflict.
