US rapper-songwriter Post Malone, known for hits like 'Rockstar' and 'Sunflower', will headline the opening ceremony of the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh on July 10th.

American singer and rapper Post Malone will perform live at the opening ceremony of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh on July 10th.
The event, which is expected to draw top gamers and fans from around the world, will also feature performances by Swedish DJ Alesso and American cellist Tina Gu, who have recently released 'Ascension (Alesso Remix)' for the competition.
Known for hit tracks including ‘Rockstar’, ‘Sunflower’, and ‘I Had Some Help’, Post Malone is no stranger to the gaming world. He is a co-owner of Envy Gaming, which later merged with the esports organisation Native Gaming.
His appearance in Riyadh marks a continued expansion of Saudi Arabia’s entertainment offerings, particularly around large-scale esports events. Malone is also scheduled to return to the region later this year to perform at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 5th, following previous shows there in 2018 and 2022.
The Esports World Cup is positioned as one of the most significant gaming competitions globally, with Riyadh hosting top-tier tournaments, exhibitions, and musical performances throughout its run. Cristiano Ronaldo was recently tapped to serve as the competition's global ambassador.
