Saudi Arabia Condemns Iran’s Attack on Oman
“The Kingdom stresses that it places of its capabilities to support Oman in all the measures that it is going to take,” the Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement on X.
Saudi Arabia on Sunday, March 1st, condemned Iran’s drone strike on Oman, describing it as a “flagrant violation” to Omans’ sovereignty.
“The Kingdom stresses that it places of its capabilities to support Oman in all the measures that it is going to take,” the Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement on X.
Riyadh cautioned that continued violations of national sovereignty by Iran risk destabilising the wider region. “The Kingdom asks the international community to take a decisive decision and measures against Iranian violations.”
Earlier today, two drones struck the commercial port of Duqm in Oman, according to state media. The incident injured one worker and marked the first reported attack on the sultanate since Tehran launched its retaliatory campaign across the Gulf.
