Saudi–Swiss Partnership Launches Hospitality Education Network
Saudi Arabia and Sommet Education will establish a national hospitality and culinary training ecosystem through a new EUR 140 million partnership.
Saudi Arabia will establish a new hospitality, tourism and culinary education network under a EUR 140 million partnership announced at the TOURISE 2025 summit in Riyadh. The agreement brings together Sommet Education — the Swiss group behind Les Roches, École Ducasse and Glion Institute of Higher Education — and Tanmeya Capital, which manages the Tanmeya Hospitality & Tourism Fund.
The collaboration will introduce specialised academies and training centres across the Kingdom, designed to supply skilled talent for a sector that continues to expand under Vision 2030. Plans include flagship campuses with programmes drawn from Sommet Education’s global curriculum, adapted to the Saudi context and offered at levels ranging from short courses to degree pathways.
Local institutions, including King Abdulaziz University as a proposed campus host, may integrate the new training network into their existing programmes. The initiative aims to professionalise the hospitality workforce, broaden career opportunities for Saudi nationals and raise service standards across hotels, resorts and culinary businesses.
