Dusit Thani College Launches Hospitality Training in Riyadh

Dusit Thani College has launched a fast track hospitality skills programme in Saudi Arabia to prepare job ready staff for the country’s expanding tourism and hospitality sector. Delivered in Riyadh, the model combines intensive hands on training, structured internships, and focused classroom instruction to accelerate workforce readiness for hotels, resorts, and luxury service operations. The programme targets the skills gap created by rapid sector growth by prioritising practical learning over extended academic cycles and aligning international service standards with local market needs through a nationwide learning network.

The core track is designed to prepare participants for employment in six months or less. It includes more than 280 hours of practical training supported by classroom modules that cover essential hospitality principles. Participants then move into a structured four month internship in high standard hotel environments to apply skills in live operations. Training pathways focus on frontline roles across culinary operations, pastry production, food and beverage service, and guest services, which remain in demand as new hospitality projects open across the country.

Alongside the main intake scheduled to commence in early 2026, the initiative introduces short, skills focused courses for baristas, concierge roles, and luxury service teams. Business oriented upskilling is also offered for hospitality operators and management teams in areas including digital marketing, cost control in food and beverage operations, housekeeping supervision, online distribution performance, pricing strategies, banqueting management, and workforce development. Graduates seeking academic progression can use the Saudi based training as a gateway to degree level study in hospitality and culinary management delivered overseas.

The programme’s roll out is linked to planned hotel openings in Riyadh, creating a route for trainees to move directly into professional roles upon completion.
