Tutankhamun Exhibition in Vienna Extended Again Following Success
The exhibition has broken the record for visitor turnout at the Vienna Museum, and will now remain open until April 21st.
The Tutankhamun Exhibition in the Austrian capital of Vienna has been extended for a second time following its continued success and excess demand for tickets, and will now remain open until April 21st.
The exhibition was first opened in October 2023 and originally slated to end in January. Its run was then extended until March, and now April, due to the ongoing frequency of visitors.
The exhibition allows visitors to view a collection of rare artefacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb, using modern technology to present the journey back in time to ancient Egypt. The event has broken all existing records for visitor turnout at the museum in Vienna, and will continue to do so until the new closing date of April 21st.
