UAE Ranks Among Leading Nations in Attracting & Retaining AI Talent

The UAE has been ranked among the world’s leading countries in attracting and retaining artificial intelligence (AI) talent, according to the AI Power Index report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The findings highlight the UAE’s growing influence in the global AI sector, driven by strategic investments and forward-looking national policies.

AI-related job opportunities in the UAE have risen by 90%, a result of the country’s expanding digital economy and focus on innovation. The country’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031 has been central to this growth, aiming to position the UAE as a global AI hub. Key pillars of the strategy include building a robust AI ecosystem, nurturing local talent, and accelerating AI adoption across health, transport, energy, and government services.

In line with this vision, the UAE—alongside Saudi Arabia—has pledged over USD 100 billion in AI investments. Both nations are now regional frontrunners in AI deployment and talent development, according to BCG’s index.
