Experience a Historic Ramadan With ‘Sawa’ at the Grand Egyptian Museum
Ramadan experience, SAWA, is back this year with an unusual and exclusive edition at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Presented by Vision Group and Animation Events, SAWA is the local Ramadan curator known for their mammoth month-long iftar-to-suhour festivities, elevating the culinary experiences of the Holy Month with a high-end selection of dishes at exclusive locations in Egypt. This year, SAWA will be setting up at one of the most exclusive and historic destinations yet: the Grand Egyptian Museum.
With Egypt’s ancient history serving as their backdrop, SAWA’s iftar and suhour offerings will be catered exclusively by ZADNA, from signature seasonal drinks and hot mezza, to a mixed grill main course, tajjins and a slew of oriental desserts. The dining and entertainment area will be set up at the Grand Egyptian Museum’s temple garden, providing irreplaceable views of both the pyramids and the museum itself.
While you indulge in the evening’s festivities, you will also be able to access SAWA’s special entertainment, including a set of PlayStations, an array of board and card games, a babyfoot and more. Live performances by some of Cairo’s most beloved DJs, as well as a takht sharqi band, will take place every night, enriching the atmosphere with Egypt’s own sonic flavour.
