A dress made entirely of 21-karat gold and weighing just over 10 kilograms has been unveiled at the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah.

Valued at AED 4.6 million, the piece (named the “Dubai Dress”) has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s heaviest gold dress. It features four main components: a golden crown (398 grams), a necklace (8.8 kilograms), earrings (134 grams), and a “Hiyar” piece (738 grams).

The creation is being showcased by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery, known for previous showstoppers including a gold bicycle worth AED 1.5 million.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, with opening hours from 1 PM to 10 PM (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) and 3 PM to 10 PM on Friday. Entry is free for visitors.
