Dubai Centre for AI Launches GenDubAI to Guide Children’s AI Use

GenDubAI, a free artificial intelligence learning platform for parents and children aged eight to 15, has launched in Dubai with interactive content designed for use at home and in education.

The platform was developed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with the Community Development Authority and Dubai Future Foundation. Available in Arabic and English through a mobile-friendly website, it introduces families to AI fundamentals, the tools children may encounter and the risks and opportunities associated with their use.

Parents are intended to take part in the learning process directly. Content is organised around “family moments” that encourage conversations and activities on topics including privacy, responsible behaviour, creativity and critical thinking, while allowing parents to follow their children’s progress.

The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence said GenDubAI will continue to add new content, educational pathways and tools as AI technology develops and families’ needs change.

The platform is available at gen.dub.ai and forms part of wider efforts linked to Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the UAE’s Year of the Family.
