Radisson Blu to Open Its First Abha Hotel in 2029
The 123-room Radisson Blu will open in Abha’s Alarin district in the third quarter of 2029.
Radisson Hotel Group has signed its first hotel in Abha, with a 123-room Radisson Blu scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2029.
The property will be located in the Alarin district, around seven kilometres from Abha International Airport and 13 kilometres from the city centre. It will include 123 rooms, among them 14 suites, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel will sit near The Point, a mixed-use development combining retail, entertainment and hospitality. Planned facilities include a restaurant, café, poolside juice bar, meeting and event spaces, a gym, salon and swimming pool.
“Our first signing in Abha marks an important step in expanding Radisson Hotel Group’s presence across Saudi Arabia, particularly secondary cities,” said Elie Milky, chief development officer for the Middle East, Northeast Africa, Greece and Cyprus at Radisson Hotel Group.
Radisson Hotel Group is targeting 100 hotels operating or under development in Saudi Arabia by 2030. The group currently has 50 properties open or in the pipeline across the Kingdom.
