Egyptian rapper Nubi, hailing from Aswan, has been building a name for himself in the scene since his entry in 2019. Starting in rap circles, Nubi has steadily gained recognition in Egyptian rap through collaborations, singles, and a full-length album titled ‘Atr El Nom’, This album showcased his experimentation with blending traditional Nubian music with contemporary trap and sha’aby.
Following the release of the first single, ‘Gezeirt El Feila’, from his upcoming album, Nubi spoke with SceneNoise about the project and his future plans. He shared insights into his creative process, reflected on his early career and background, and offered a look at his artistic vision.
