New Residency Fees Announced for Foreign Nationals Living in UAE

New residency fees have been announced by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs in the UAE. The price has been raised to AED 195 for a one-year residency, AED 295 for two years, and AED 395 for three years.
The following documents must be provided in order to secure a UAE residence permit: a copy of a valid passport, a notarised lease agreement or proof of real estate ownership, a health card, a contract of employment for private-sector employees, a pay certificate for public-sector employees, a copy of a sponsor’s passport, and access to all medical history.
