Metro Line 3 Reduces Wait Time With Train Arrival Every 4.5 Minutes

Starting September 1st, 2024, RATP Dev - the company operating Cairo's third metro line - will reduce the wait time between trains during peak hours on weekdays.

This change, effective on weekdays from Sunday to Thursday, will see trains arriving every four-and-a-half minutes between Adly Mansour Station and Kit Kat Station in both directions. For the segments between Kit Kat Station and either Cairo University Station or Rod El Farag Axis Station, trains will arrive every nine minutes.

The adjustment will apply during peak hours, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The company has also confirmed the daily operating hours for all three metro lines remain unchanged.
