Mohamed Attia Leads Production Design on Grand Egyptian Museum Opening

Mohamed Attia will lead the production design and art direction for the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum on November 1st, 2025. Attia has previously contributed to major national events, including ‘The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade’ and the parade celebrating the restoration of Luxor’s ‘Al-Kebash Road (Rams Road)’. His screen work includes the acclaimed film series ‘The Blue Elephant’, the action-crime franchise ‘Welad Rizk’, and ‘Diamond Dust’. On television, he has worked on ‘Afrah AlQoba’, ‘Taht El Wesaya’, and ‘Ekhwaty’, spanning both large-scale public ceremonies and commercially successful film and TV productions. For the Grand Egyptian Museum opening, Attia’s role encompasses both production design and art direction, shaping the visual identity and spatial experience of the event. His work will integrate live performance, music, and scenography to create a unified narrative of Egypt, designed to complement the programme’s artistic flow and accommodate the presence of international and regional guests.
