WATCH: Cairo's Oldest Glass Blowers Brought His Craft From Palestine

Once upon a time, an Egyptian man travelled across the region - from Egypt to Turkey, Syria and Palestine, and then back to Egypt - just to work and train in the art of glassblowing, a craft that was mastered by very few.

Right in the heart of Khan El Khalili lies the shop he opened more than a hundred years ago, now operated by his grandsons, Karim and Hossam Abdelraouf.

In addition to glassblowing, they recycle all types of glass, transforming them into beads and ornaments that look like nothing you’ve seen before.
