The Ministry of Civil Aviation has approved the launch of a remote in-flight medical system, allowing doctors to conduct real-time health assessments on passengers, including ECGs, during flights. This new system is part of the ministry's broader digital transformation of healthcare services, aiming to enhance medical care for travelers.
In addition, a new bone marrow transplant unit has been established at Cairo International Airport, at the cost of EGP 25 million. The unit is designed to address critical healthcare needs and boost Egypt’s growing medical tourism sector, which has earned TEMOS certification for quality care.
